Shopping in Japan offered the best price on this iconic diving wristwatch. However, I was a concerned about shipping, because I am located in Mexico, and SIJ ships via EMS Japan (Express Mail Service). That means it departs via the Japanese mail system, but once it arrives in Mexico, it becomes the responsibility of the Mexican mail system to deliver. Japan's mail system is totally reliable, but not so for Mexico, and in the past I had a very unpleasant experience to prove it. This time, it took only one day for the watch to travel from Japan to Mexico City, and another 5 days in the Mexican mail system -- a total of just six days. Furthermore, the package was not opened by Mexican customs, and I was not charged an import duty or VAT. Maybe it's because the commercial invoiced listed the value in U.S. dollars and it was mistaken for Mexican pesos, or maybe I was just lucky -- who knows? Anyway, I can say that SIJ offered a great price and a completely hassle-free shopping experience. Emails to their customer service were promptly answered. They are a thoroughly reputable company, and I will order from them again without hesitation.

The SKX007 is THE go-to watch for entry level divers. It's my personal opinion that every man who fancies divers should own one. Great quality and design, a pleasure to look at. Keeps time very well, even if it isn't the slightly more premium JDM version. An amazing piece that gets the job done as a diver, sports watch, dress watch or daily beater. Would recommend the jubilee metal bracelet, it just looks much better (plus you can get the rubber strap for cheap pretty much anywhere). Good classic watch. Not too big for 6.75" wrist. This is the K version, description here can be a bit confusing. Delivery was quick and safe to europe. Shopping in Japan is great to deal with.

The SKX is a classic timepiece that boasts a very robust movement and great styling. It's quality is comparable to the more expensive brands at a fraction of the price, this watch would compliment any serious collection. The only letdown is the bracelet, It could be of higher quality but that is easily rectified with a nice leather or synthetic band. It was a pleasure shopping at "Shopping in Japan", delivery was fast, my order was well packaged and customer service was exceptional.

The watch is fantastic, I bought it without having ever seen it and I have to admit that live is better than in picture. The shipment was very fast and the customer service of shoppinginjapan has always been punctual and careful, in just 8 days I received my watch in Italy. About the Watch: it's great watch, it's worth every penny you spend, it's so many good reviews about it. The only I don't really like is the bracelet it's look cheap, but not a big deal I ordered a super oyster bracelet to change it. The Seiko SKX is a timeless watch with the quality and dependability expected from much pricier brands. The movement is a workhorse and has been known to run for 20 plus years without a service. The only negative is the bracelet, it in no way complements the quality of the watch buy is easily rectified. This timepiece will compliment any serious watch collection. Shopping in Japan was a pleasure to deal with, great price, fast delivery and good follow us service. I will definitely continue to shop at Shopping In Japan.

First off, great price, great support from Shopping in Japan and fast delivery despite coming from across the globe. Skx007 is, as everyone knows, a classic, must-have for anyone interested in dive watches. Fit and finish is top notch, hands hit the markers accurately and the mechanical power is easy to charge and stays charged longer than my Miyota watches. Lume is good as well. However, the jubilee bracelet it ships with is junk, imho. I took it off immediately upon arrival and put the 007 on a nylon nato where it belongs. I will have this watch until I die. Then it will be passed on to one of my children. And a surprise bonus. ..a gift certificate from Shopping in Japan with my order. Nice touch.
