After many years of buying and selling high end dive watches, for me, the Seiko Marinemaster is the absolute best. It is very difficult to see the quality of this watch from pictures online. Was delivered from Japan to Australia into my hands in 4 days. Amazingly fast, I will definitely shop again. Love the SBDX017, glad I went classic instead of one of the newer non-Marinemaster versions.

I saw one today at a watch boutique and it was the last piece, brand new with all the tags, a box with an extra rubber strap original price was ¥270,00 and since it was the last piece I was offered for ¥180,000! That price was super good! But unfortunately, it was a little too small on my wrist.

Initially I was slightly wary about spending so much on a watch from outside the EU. I needn’t have worried. SID were very efficient and DHL were on time. Payment of VAT via DHLs portal was simple. Of course, the Seiko Marinemaster was superb. An increasingly rare chance to buy this great watch without the Prospex logo on the face. I shall buy from Shopping in Japan again.
