Seiko Prospex PADI Special Edition SBDC055

This is my first automatic watch and believe me i made a lot of research. I can only say one word about it. AWESOME. No alignment issues or whatsoever. The customer service was also perfect and the shipping was fast. Highly recommended.

Blue and black are my favourite colours, so this watch was on my radar since its release. This watch is simply amazing, be it finishing, design, bezel, glass, dial, alignment, movement accuracy, band, box - everything. Some may ask if the price is justified compared to a SKX007, a regular Monster or a Sumo. While the Sumo is outstanding, the dial and bezel of this model are clearly on a higher level. This is a watch that looks so much better in person. SIJ service was great as usual.

I love this watch as it is different from some of the more "standard" watches in my collection. Great color on the dial and the lume is top-notch Seiko bright. My wife and kids also immediately liked it. A fun change! It has been running about -2 seconds/day over the course of 5 days. The bezel is perfectly aligned. I am currently wearing it on a dark navy blue NATO strap (from Blu Shark) which I greatly prefer to the rubber strap in terms of the overall look. I also have on order a SS bracelet which looked great on this watch in a youtube video I viewed.

Amazing dial lovely lume,only fault is strapsize I have small wrists,It would be suitable to offer a smaller strap .

Just received my beautiful Seiko SBDC055 Special Edition watch from "Shopping In Japan". The watch is absolutely beautiful. My watch is perfect in every way. The attention to detail on the watch is first rate. Bezel alignment is spot on. Screw down crown is nice and smooth, treads on crown are smooth and clean. Love the dial color, in some light the dial appears to be a beautiful shade of purple, and in other lighting, a nice blue shade. Only thing I will be doing is switching out the dark blue rubber band with a ss bracelet.
