Seiko SARB065 Mechanical Cocktail Time

Received the watch within the exact timeframe supplied. Quite satisfied with the speed of shipping for an international item. Sara was responsive throughout the sales and delivery process. The watch itself looks great in person. I swapped the band out and the sunburst dial is beautiful. I also enjoy the smoothness of the second hand movement. Simple but elegant! Domed crystal gives watch sophisticated look. I kniw this is a dress watch, but if the marks had illumination this would be perfect.

I had researched the SARB065 and whilst it is possible to get one in the UK its a little bit cheaper to get one sent from Japan. It does appear to be quite a lot cheaper, except I had not factored in the approximately £70 customs duty that still had to be paid so beware of that. The total I paid was still less than the advertised prices on ebay and Amazon though. There was also a bit of a wait getting it but I wasn't bothered about that, I emailed to ask where it was and Sarah got back to me straight away. In terms of the product itself, I just think this watch is fantastic, beautiful and amazing value for money. I was looking at maybe buying an Omega Deville a while back and tried one on, but its not nicer than this Seiko and its £2400. One thing that I noted with the watch I received is that it has the 6R15 D in it. I think that means its relatively new stock, older ones have 6R15 C. Its the same movement I think, but a later batch. So I think that's another positive for shopping in Japan.NET. I think you might end up with one that was manufactured 5 or 6 years ago if you buy in UK. I may be wrong but that's my theory, its up to you what you want to believe. As I say the watch looks fantastic and it is performing just as well as the reviews I read said it would, I think its averaging about 3 seconds fast a day, which for a mechanical watch is very good. The next time I fancy a new watch I'll shop with this company again

Easy to do business with Shopping in Japan. Arrived within a week in Europe after ordering. Securely packaged and with all booklets, warranty card and hangtags included. I prefer the JDM ‘cocktail’ over the recently introduced Presage version as it has a better movement and also - in my opinion, a nicer dial.

Very pleased with SARB065. Looks great, love wearing it and I think keeps very good time. Haven't exactly checked it, but must be within a few seconds a day. Also great service. Arrived in NZ within a week.
