A column wheel, vertical clutch chronometer beating at 28800bph keeping excellent time and looking simply amazing. A fantastic bargain at the price. And that Urushi lacquer, what can I say about that, outstanding history, craftmanship and uniqueness. Excellent service from ShoppinginJapan and great communication.

Beautiful watch. Japanese obsession with detail and quality. If one day they can reduce the thickness of the watch, it would have few rivals in the luxury watch market but great value for such a quality product regardless

I saw this watch on online reviews 12 months ago and thought it looked stunning but I would never be able to get my hands on one. Thanks to shoppinginjapan I am now the proud owner of a genuine work of art. It is simply beautiful. As an engineer I appreciate the impressive mechanical movement but it is the dial that really makes this watch. It easily trumps the much more expensive Swiss watches many people here in Dubai are wearing. Delivery and communication was carried out with typical Japanese efficiency. I was so impressed I ordered the white enamel dial version also. Now I have a truely special watch to hand down to both of my sons!

Heft and finesse

The case is thick, but from the front the watch's delicacy is what draws the eye. The silver paint of the numerals and the exactness of the second hand sweep. The bright red of the chrono second hand tip and the matching red above 12. All these details sharply define the face of the watch. It is slightly uncomfortable for larger wrists due to the inturn of the clasp.
