Far more beautiful in person

Domo arigatō! Review of Seiko Brightz SDGM007 Azabu Tailor Limited: This piece is far more beautiful when viewed in person. Seiko did a marvelous job with the case - there is a combination of polished and brushed surfaces that adds depth and detail. The dial matches the case with a sunburst blue that is unique and a lot nicer than any other similar dials (SDGM001, SDGM003, SARB065). The finish of the SDGM is magnificent. I have been wearing this since it arrived (approximately one week), and have received compliments (including one from a local Seiko Dealer). More than that, however, I cannot stop looking at this piece. Currently, I have it on the brown strap that comes as an accessory with the purchase. The movement is Seiko's in-house 6R15 and I have been checking its time against the time of my phone provider's network. It is well within its accuracy range. Setting the time with the onyx layered crown was smooth. Changing the date was affirmed with a positive click for each and every date that I cycled through (already cycled through all 31 numbers a few times) Overall, I am very happy to add this Azabu Tailor Limited to my collection. It is a beautiful mechanical piece.
