Amazing customer service and beautiful product
Paid with Paypal with no trouble, shipped from Shopping in Japan the next day and I was able to pick it up after one week in Finland. Daytime delivery so the courier took it to my designated post office which was no problem to me since it’s delivers 24h service. As most people have stated the strap is subpar the quality of the watch itself. It’s quite similar to ones in entry level quartz Swiss watches eg Certina. So it has become better in two weeks of wear but I’m waiting for my Hirsch retro ranger strap. Since I’ve been traveling quite a lot lately I ordered it online as well as there was a small change to get it by the same weekend but there was some hassle. Finally after my inquiries the shipment was found and it was already at the post office when I went there but they just didn’t find it. The next weekend I’m able to pick it up and then I’ll start looking for the next strap. This watch is going to be one of my daily watches for now and I’m thinking of rotating between 2-4 different straps or bracelets. There’s number of good looks online and for me this works as dress watch as well.

First watch in a long time.
Never bought or worn a watch over 100$ before this Alpinist. I’ve used it for over a week and I love it! It looks and feels great on my wrist. Yeah the wristband is stiff in the beginning like some reviewers say, but it gets better with time. Don’t have anything to compare with really, if it’s high quality or if the movement is good enough for this price. To me there’s no imperfections and the movement keeps time within specification. Shopping in Japan seems reliable and delivers on time. Good service and plenty of information all the way to Swedish customs, PostNord is unreliable as always. Japan knows what they are doing when it comes to watches and transportation.
