I am from Poland, I ordered Seiko SARB017 and brancelet. I received the order in 16 days, but it is probably normal, because a few days the package was in the customs office in Poland and I came across holidays, free days from work. Unfortunately, I had to pay $ 150 tax in Poland. From the very beginning of the contract to the end, contact with Shoppinginjapan Net was very nice, professional and helpful. The packet itself was well secured, the watch and bracelet were in perfect condition. I highly recommend Shoppinginjapan Net.

The Seiko sarb017 alpinist is a fine mechanical watch and arrived in good working order. The price at Shopping in Japan was comparable or slightly cheaper than other shops. The problems I encountered purchasing from Shopping in Japan are probably not relevant if you purchase using a credit card. According to their web site, which I confirmed by email, Shopping in Japan accepts payment by wire or bank transfers, my preferred payment method. However, they were relatively inexperienced with this process. First they didn’t give me a bank branch number. Second they later gave me the wrong bank branch number, and third they then gave me a wrong account number. This caused me to visit my bank four times before I was able to pay, and also caused a delay of over almost three weeks before I was able to get the watch. I bought the watch as a birthday gift, and because of the delay it didn’t arrive in time. Shopping in Japan never apologized for sending me the wrong bank information or gave me an explanation. Sending me the wrong account number was particularly worrisome since I came close to depositing my payment into someone else’s account and who knows how difficult it would have been to get the money back. If Shopping in Japan is not comfortable with bank transfer payments, they shouldn’t list wire transfer as a payment method of their site. Again, I have no complaints about he watch itself, and it arrived in fine condition.

The fit and finish of this watch belies its reasonable price. The size fits perfectly at 38.5 mm and the Seiko cal. 6R15 if very accurate and can hack and is handwindable with a power reserver of over 50 hours. The only points I would knock off the watch is the OEM strap. It never sat right on my wrist but that was easily remedied by switching it out for a nicer vintage-style brown leather strap from a well known strap maker in Italy. As usual the customer service from SIJ was top notch with fast shipping and secure packing. Japan to the USA in a few days. I feel safe buying from SIJ as this is my 4th purchase from them.

Watch received within a week of ordering and arrived in good condition as promised. Kudos to Sara for the outstanding service. She consistently touch base via email to update the status of delivery. Overall, I am impressed with the service and competitive prices offered, and will definitely considering purchasing from here in the future.

beautiful dial and really accurate to - + 3 - 5 seconds a day. the polished finish on the stainless steel case is immaculate and I've received many compliments. I switched to a green rubber bracelet which goes very nicely with the watch. good lume as always on seiko. great watch, well done. no longer in production so value is bound to increase as stocks dwindle.

The watch is amazing, but the strap. I swapped it to Angus Jubilee immediately. I can't get enough of em´.

This is a gorgeous watch that pictures don't really do justice to. The dial looks amazing, especially when exposed to direct sunlight. Only fault is the leather bracelet, the leather strap is really quite nasty. It is very stiff at first but it does feel like it will give and bend to the wrist, but is easily replaceable. I would like to thanks Sara for very good delivery (very well packed) and customer service. Shipping was unbelievably fast with real time tracking: 5 days to reach Chile from Japan and 12 days in customs (which is normal in my country when you have to pay import taxes).
