Enough has been said about this watch. I am in the group that finds the green, gold and silver extremely attractive. I had to get it before it went out of stock, and SIJ was a good place to get this. This is my second watch from SIJ, and the service from Sara is great. She also helped track it for local delivery due to some snags in logistics. Don't need to think twice before buying with SIJ.

First of all, the service of Shopping In Japan is superb. Couldn't be anything better. It took me a little while to proceed the order because I needed to pay with Bank Wire Transfer and I had a lot of questions since it was my first time. But after the transaction was confirmed it took me 5 days to get my watch shipping to Holland! Pretty impressed with the fast shipping. After discussing the amount of value I wanted to add to the watch for the upcoming import taxes, I didn't have to pay any at all! So very impressed with the cheap price from Shopping In Japan as well! So when I opened the watch box and saw my new Alpinist for the first time in real I couldn't be happier. Very subtle cathedral hands with a beautiful green sunburst dial as we all know. Would definitely recommend just buying it if you are interested. Only downside I I have besides ofcourse the stock strap, the watch is a scratch magnet. If you don't like scratches the watch may be not something for you, at least if you couldn't get over it. I have weared it for a couple of hours and I already have some minor scratches on the bezel. So trying to tell myself scratches will occur anyway and it only will add characteristics. Overall I am really loving my watch and can't wait to get some straps for it. I want to thank Sara for the very great service and support that couldn't be better. Very impressed and will definitely repeat!

The watch arrived in a good condition and had bubble wrap around the box to protect it. No signs of any damage or whatsoever, and the watch is performing well within the specs. Only one issue I would point out however, which has nothing to do with Shopping in Japan. I ordered this watch in Malaysia and the watch arrived in Malaysia from Japan within 7 days as promised, but the Customs processing was awfully long and the courier service did not even deliver the watch to my house; I had to manually get to the post office to collect the watch myself as I had to pay extra import and service and sale taxes. Just a heads up for any other fellow Malaysians looking to purchase a watch or any other product as well! But overall the service from Shopping in Japan was superb, and I would like to especially mention Sara for the great customer service!

Great experience buying. Arrived 7 days no problems. Alpinist came in proper box with tags and manual. Watch works and looks great and colour changes depending on lighting.
