The ‘king turtle’ has a big fan base among fans of divers watches. I love the look of the watch and after researching decided on purchasing this ‘made in Japan’ edition which is slightly different from models available in Europe. I am very happy with my purchase. Shopping in Japan could not have been more helpful.

Excellent service, beautiful watch

photoa can't do it justice looks absolutely amazing in real light, especially in sunlight. I'm no collector, I wear my watches, always wanted a turtle but never really got around to it. The Sapphire and the ceramic bezel (btw perfectly aligned!) finally did it for me though, thank you Seiko. and , maybe having to confess being a slight watch snob, went for the made in Japan version so also big thank you shoppinginjapan for another great service. Received 6 days after ordering INCLUDING customs clearance into Austria!

The dial is simply beautiful. Patina lume and ceramic bezel insert really put this one above the previous turtle great white shark edition. Sapphire crystal is just icing on the top. I used to own 2 turtles but decided to flip them in just a few months because they dont really connect with me. I took a chance and ordered this King Turtle after watched a review on youtube. I'm glad I did, this one's a keeper for sure. Thinking of ordering the grenade dial-ed one next.
