Casio Oceanus OCW-S100B-1AJF

Collecting timepieces can be a very deep rabbit hole, but (so far ?) I have managed to remain disciplined by having a specific collection goal. One part of that goal was to have a standout, "high-end" Casio, and this watch does not disappoint. I did TONNES of research before stumbling across the Oceanus range, and lots more to finally settle on this model. I prefer simple, elegant, formal esque designs, and this watch does not disappoint. It is so well made that it surpasses the other (similarly priced, automatic) timepieces in my small collection, for both quality and weight. Other reviews have stated that it is so light it feels like you do not have it on... It is an odd feeling, but I also found this to be true. The bracelet is very well designed and remains comfortable throughout the day. I have not needed to play with the setting outside of my initial set up, but it was reasonably simple to do. Be warned about adjusting the bracelet though... It is a little bit tricky due to the pin design but I had already purchased a watch repair toolkit, and did not find it especially challenging. This could perhaps be due to my career as a maintenance engineer and sometimes having to deal with fiddly repairs, but there are some excellent guides on YouTube if you need to learn how. Be patient, take the recommended precautions, and it will be pain-free. Some have also complained about the lack of micro-adjustment on the bracelet. This is obviously subjective as I found my ideal fit reasonably quickly, but just bear that in mind. Overall, this is a beautiful timepiece, and a marvel at the tech that has gone into it. I would wholeheartedly recommend an Oceanus to anyone, and would not hesitate to buy more if I ever need to expand my collection... But is it ever really a need? ?

Watch and service were excellent. As far as I can say this watch is worth its price. Simple and clean look, very light to wear. The functionality is a bit tricky at the beginning. But its more a set and forget kind of thing. Once it is set properly it does everything automatically - one doesnt have to care about anything. The service was friendly and quick. Needed less than one week to ship to Switzerland. Many thanks!

I just wanted a simple black watch without the clutter on the dial and is maintenance free. Clean look and I get compliments for it's look.

Esperaba desde hace mucho tiempo este reloj y por fin me ha llegado, se lo aconsejo a todo amante de relojes. Es muy comodo, delgado, elegante, super ligero y lo mejor de todo es que muy poca gente lo conoce fuera de Japon y EEUU. Se puso en hora la primera noche que llego. Estoy encantado con el y espero que me dure mucho tiempo para poder disfrutarlo
