Precision and Design Execution
My first participation with Oceanus, will not be my last. Feature access via pusher functions are easily accomplished, dare I say, elegantly so. Date movement to current time zone is a witnessed fade in/fade out smooth roll, purely for the owners enjoyment. Could it have been accomplished with a gated snap? Sure, but someone at Oceanus thought otherwise. Seconds hand does enjoy the quartz snap to successors, and absolutely on each mark. Legibility for all indicators is qiuck, nicely contrast driven from the snowy dial, and the lume sustains well into late hours. Titanium case and bracelet (excellently finished), make its wearing feather weight by any measure, and more so when balanced to any of my Swiss 43-46mm mechanical pieces. And then there is the compass, a complication not one of my Swiss have. At anchor in thick fog with poor cell service, with heading, guided our tender to our beach target. Bravo Oceanus, I look forward to exploring your brand further.
