G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-1000-1AJF

I recently placed an order for a Casio g-shock Mudmaster GWG-1000-1AJF at shoppinginjapan.net and I'm really happy with it at the moment, but I have to admit that I had to pay about 163.00 euros for Fee to Belgium (DHL-Express) count down. Otherwise a big thumbs up and excellent service for this site.

Great watch from a great site

A great watch for its intended purpose. It is perfect in the field, in your backyard, or the workshop, operating jolting machinery, taking the beating where your prized Swiss watches just won’t do it. Its feature set can come in handy, although at the same time leaving much to be desired. Sunrise/ sunset, tide graph, and app connectivity would make this an ultimate watch. Granted those are power consuming features for a solar powered watch. Case design has a bit too many crannies that are prone to dirt and dust accumulation for a watch intended for the outdoors. However, case material seems to be hydrophobic and can be easily rinsed clean. Water resistances is a bit questionable as the air tight buttons do make squishy noise even hours after brief water encounters, although they eventually dry off without any malfunction. But hey, it’s not a dive watch! Some functions also unnecessarily require unscrewing the smart crown, increasing the risk of moisture and liquid entry in the field. An option to set the alarm or timer with the buttons instead of the crown would have been nice. The lume is usable than on most Casio. The watch feels great on the wrist with great daytime visibility and a premium heft. Not a perfect watch but it is meant to be abused and not cherished. Good service, product is as advertised...watch out for other delivery fees like I had (130$ of import tax....not the seller's fault though). Would love to do business with them again if it wasn't for the non-existent free trade agreement between Japan and Canada.

This watch looks and feels great. Goes everywhere with everything (perhaps not a suit). But it lacks key time-keeping functions in a go everywhere, do everything non-oceanic watch, especially considering its complications are digitally driven: i.e., it has no sunrise/sunset times or moon phase -- disappointing. Also its dual backlights are great a illuminating the hands and hour markers at night, but the digital display is almost, but not quite, unreadable -- also disappointing when compared to the gulf-master which might even be used as an emergency flashlight.

It is difficult to find a Mudmaster that is made in Japan. I finally found it on shoppingjapan.net. Outstanding quality. Also, great service and fast delivery.

Bought for Christmas and my birthday by my wife. I love it. Fast shipping around 5 business days from Japan to Switzerland near Lausanne. Very nice price lower than in Switzerland for 350$. Fast response about any questions. I will recommend this website.
