Citizen SATELLITE WAVE AIR Promaster CC1054-56E

This product works as expected. It shows time, date and morning or afternoon. It automatically adjusts to GPS. And that's it. The design is great on the picture, but pretty plain look when worn. Firthermore most of the functions are hidden behind the big hands (hard to see the sat sync was ok or not, hard to read the day,..): I don't like that lack of care to the user. The Eco-Drive power reserve indicator quickly showed level 2 on 3. Despite, it took only few hours sun exposure to come back to level 3, but it's a constraint compared to a Seiko kinetic. I don't really like the Citizen brand on the cristal, it looks like plastic marking.

The design of a watch is very important to me, and the design of this watch, especially the fantastic dial, caught my eye the first time I saw it. I usually don't like big watches, and this one is big AND thick, but it is so well designed that you don't really feel it that much. The green accents in the dial are quite uncommon in watches, too. Technically, there are better GPS solar watches around these days, but the design is often not as good as the technology. This is not the case here, the dial is really gorgeous. The watch is also very well built and the bracelet is sturdier than in most watches, and it has a superb domed crystal. I highly recommend this watch. Citizen did a great job with this model.
