Better than it should be

This is an excellent MC cartridge -- probably unbeatable at this price point. Fantastic tracking (it's an AT, so that's hardly a surprise), sonically neutral, perhaps even a tiny tad on the warm side (it's an AT, so this IS a surprise). Build quality on a par with or better than products costing twice as much at least. Setup was rather easy, but you really need to take great care not to harm the extremely thin cantilever. The diamond can hardly be seen unless you use a loupe or a microscope (and my ophthalmologist and me consider my eyes more than good...). Used on a Rega RP8 and into a Quad 99 Pre at 100 Ohms input load, has not broken in yet (10 hrs), but is already sounding great (and better by the minute). I mostly listen to Rock, Alternative, Pop, Country, and the AT33PTG/II is just fun and a perfect choice for that. ORDER WAS SUPERBLY HANDLED BY SHOPPINGINJAPAN AND SHIPPED VERY FAST.
