      Great watch, wrist band not so much

      The watch in itself is perfect. Flawless. One of Seiko's greatest job. The leather band/bracelet however is too rough, not flexible enough. Buy the watch & change it after !

      This piece looks great in pictures, but looks even more amazing in person. The way the light catches could change the dial from a dark green to a bright green with a sunburst effect.

      A beautiful looking quality watch. This SARB017 is really a few steps up the ladder from standard Seiko watches. The dial is a bit of a chameleon , changing from sunburst to a matte green. The gold indices really complement the dial colour. If you are sitting on the fence and wondering if you should buy one of these, my answer would be a definite yes. The experience of purchasing from shoppinginjapan was first class all through the process . With very fast delivery from Japan and being kept informed of the order progress was a real bonus.

      Bad from the factory

      I purchased the watch in 2017 from eBay. The unit was defective from the factory since it is not accurate. Sadly I noticed this after months of wearing it, it gains 5-15 minutes a day, after a few days of wearing it. It's fine a few days or a week then after that suddenly it losses time like a broken 10 dollar watch. The bezel mechanism is broken, it hadn't a smooth ring movement from the start, but I thought it was normal, since I've read many reviews on the internet before buying it. Sadly the movement was a dud, as other reported it. Will not buy another Seiko watch again after these experience, makes me wonder about the QC from Seiko, since I have a Seiko 6 series with not a problem with the 7s26 movement workhorse.
